Skydiving from a drone, seriously?

Seriously? That was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this video of a guy being lifted in the air by a drone to go skydiving. I mean, what is wrong with just using an airplane, which would be able to get you much higher and thus giving you more airtime?

Later on, in the video, it starts to make sense. The Aerones drones are capable of lifting objects or people. They show how this can be very useful for rescuing somebody out of the water or fighting a fire in a highrise building. For the daring skydiving stunt, it took 6 months of preparations and the drone had to be able to lift 440 Lbs. I am not sure how that impacted the battery life but that drone has some serious lifting capabilities.
