Just like last year, DJI launches their Winter Holiday Sale with up to 30% discounts. Unfortunately, many of the discounts are not for the newest and hottest DJI products, such as the DJI Osmo Pocket or the DJI Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom. Instead, the discounts seem to be focussed on older products such as the Mavic Pro and Spark and accessories instead.

DJI just announced their Super Sale promotion to ‘coincidentally’ take place at the same time as the Amazon Prime Day we announced earlier. For 36 hours, the Chinese drone maker will offer up to 30% discounts on select products. The event starts on July 16 at 12:00, although it doesn’t say what time zone. Even the link to their website is not working at the time of writing this article. I’m sure DJI will straighten that out soon.

DJI’s Mavic Air was announced last week to a flurry of great reviews. We’re currently putting together our review but spoiler: We can say that this is the drone to get in the ~$800 price range.

It seems that DJI is trying to clear their current inventory of DJI Mavic Pro’s as they are currently offering the Mavic Pro and Goggles combination at a $150 USD discount. My advice would be to wait at least until January 23rd when the new DJI Mavic Air gets released. At that point, you will at least be able to make an informed decision.
