The world’s largest drone-maker, DJI announced that they will exhibit at InterDrone, the industry’s largest dedicated commercial UAV show, in Las Vegas this year. It will be DJI Enterprise’s first major presence at the expo with a 40 x 40-foot booth as part of their big push into the commercial drone market. The event will take place from September 5-7 at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas.

The DJI team is excited for InterDrone 2018

DJI Enterprise will occupy the largest exhibit space in the history of the event with a 40 x 40-foot exhibit space. DJI will present a keynote presentation in the morning on Thursday, September 6 and will host a number of 60-minute sessions covering topics such as its developer technologies, the current landscape of drones in public safety, and what’s new and hot in aerial photography.

Jan Gasparic, Head of Enterprise Partnerships at DJI said that:

“The DJI team is excited for InterDrone 2018, where we will showcase our latest technology, which include solutions developed in close collaboration with our partners – many of whom will be exhibiting at our booth. The commercial drone ecosystem is growing at a rapid rate and it is thrilling to see the emergence of specialized solutions that cater to specific industrial needs.”

PrecisionHawk’s CEO Michael Chasen will also participate in the Grand Keynote address as will Airmap’s Greg McNeal. The InterDrone event is expected to draw a crowd of 3,500 people.

Katie Flash, Content Director, InterDrone said that:

“Exhibitors and sponsors include a cross-section of the entire commercial drone industry, including DroneDeploy, FLIR, Epson, NASA, Pix4D, Geospatial Solutions, ESRI, Brother International, ComNav Technology, Bentley Systems, Harris, NovaTel, and DAE Inc. These great brands mix with great content to attract our robust attendee base of drone business owners, pilots and professionals in all sectors of the industry.”

This year’s event will feature more than 120 sessions, panel discussions, and keynotes presented by industry experts, covering various commercial drone applications. The latest hardware, software, and drone accessories from industry-leading manufacturers and innovators will be displayed at the Exhibit Hall. Registration for InterDrone 2018 is now open.
