DJI Mavic 2 Pro review in Antartica [video]

The DJI Mavic 2 Pro is reviewed by YouTube channel PhotoRec on a recent trip to Antarctica. In the seven-minute video, he talks about some of the improvements the DJI Mavic 2 offers over its predecessor, the Mavic Pro. It is a short but sweet DJI Mavic 2 Pro review, so grab a cup of coffee and watch it if you have a few minutes.

DJI Mavic 2 Pro review

In the review video of the DJI Mavic 2 Pro, PhotoRec tells us how impressed he is by the battery life, tracking system, the crystal clear and lag-free video feed, improved range, and the adjustable aperture. He points out the significant difference between the image quality of the 20MP DJI Mavic 2 Pro camera versus the 12MP one on the original DJI Mavic Pro.

Most impressive though is the new OcuSync 2.0 system that provides a much more solid connection between the remote controller and the drone. Talking about the remote controller, he likes the removable sticks but not so much the way the phone is jammed into the grips of the remote control. He likes the Smart Controller but considers it too bulky and expensive. You can’t win them all…

Lastly, he recommends the NISI filter set (see our extensive filter text here) and commends the Mavic 2 Pro on its ease of use when it comes to flying the unmanned aircraft.
