DJI Phantom 4 Series Intelligent Flight Battery in stock, only to sell out immediately

Earlier this week, the Phantom 4 Series Intelligent Flight Battery was back in stock in the official DJI online store, and it sold out in a matter of hours. We don’t know how many batteries were available, or for how long they were available. But, according to members of the Drone U community, they sold out very fast. Checking the DJI store right now will show you that the Phantom 4 Series Intelligent Flight Battery is out of stock again. We wrote earlier that the DJI Phantom 4 Pro is rumored to make a temporary comeback around mid-October this year. Could the short-lived availability of the Phantom 4 battery be an early sign of the DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone going back into production?

Phantom 4 Series Intelligent Flight Battery sells out right away

According to our poll (see below), many prosumers and professional drone pilots are eager for a comeback of the iconic DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone. Many of you have pointed out that no other DJI drone offers the same combination of affordability, ease of use, reliability, and quality imagery.

Earlier this week, Drone U member S. Stevens shared a photo that showed the Phantom 4 Series Intelligent Flight Battery back in stock at the official DJI online store, after having been out of stock for months. Not surprisingly, the batteries sold out quickly.

We are wondering if this is a sign of DJI sorting out their production issues that likely resulted in the $150 million fraud loss in the DJI supply chain, and if DJI is indeed getting ready to bring back the DJI Phantom 4 Pro.

During the out-of-stock timeframe, we have seen the Phantom 4 battery offered for sale on eBay and Amazon at inflated price levels.

A quick scan today shows that options to buy the Phantom 4 Series Intelligent Flight Battery are very limited.
