Free drone training for women in Canada: AlteX DroneHUB’s giveaway

AlteX DroneHUB is once again celebrating International Women’s Day by giving women in Canada the chance to level up their skills with free professional drone training. Now in its third year, the Women Who Drone Giveaway offers two winners a spot in the Advanced Drone License Training program — a course valued at CAD $650.

The initiative aims to support women working in engineering, construction, land surveying, media, and other fields where drones are becoming essential tools. Learning to operate a drone professionally can open up new career opportunities and give participants a competitive edge in their industries.

“This giveaway has become an incredibly popular initiative, attracting hundreds of women professionals each year who are eager to explore how drones can enhance their careers,” says Yifei Zhao, operations director at AlteX DroneHUB. “We are committed to empowering more women to integrate drone applications into their work.”

Women interested in learning how to use drones professionally can apply by filling out a short form at this link.
