Drone operators in Europe now have more room to fly safely and legally, thanks to a new announcement from aerospace safety company ParaZero. The Israeli firm has expanded its compliance for DJI’s Mavic 3 drone line, adding full Class C5 certification for the Mavic 3 Pro and Mavic 3 Pro Cine models.
This move means ParaZero’s SafeAir system is now fully certified across all major Mavic 3 platforms, including the Mavic 3 Enterprise (M3E), Mavic 3 Thermal (M3T), Mavic 3 Pro, and Pro Cine.
Why does this matter? In Europe, Class C5 certification is key for drone operators looking to fly in complex environments — like crowded city streets or sensitive areas — under the Specific Category rules set by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

The update comes after DJI officially marked the Mavic 3 Pro and Pro Cine with Class C2 status, making them eligible for further compliance through third-party safety tech like ParaZero’s SafeAir.
ParaZero’s SafeAir system adds an extra layer of protection by offering real-time flight monitoring, situational awareness, and a patented emergency parachute system. These features can help prevent accidents and enable safer missions in areas with tighter flight restrictions.
For drone professionals — especially those in public safety, inspection, or delivery — this opens the door to operating in places that were previously off-limits or required special permissions.
In short, with ParaZero’s latest certification, the full Mavic 3 family is now better equipped to meet Europe’s strict drone regulations — making the skies just a bit safer and a lot more accessible.
