Notably, the camera module is capable of rotating (as seen in the teaser video above), enabling vertical shooting — a feature beneficial for social media content creators. The primary camera is rumored to have a brighter f/2.0 aperture, improving low-light performance. Video capabilities may include 6K recording at 60fps and 4K at 120fps, along with support for D-Log recording for professional-grade footage. A Cine version is speculated to include a built-in 2TB SSD for expanded storage while other configurations could come with 512 GB on-board storage.

The Mavic 4 Pro is further expected to feature a 6,654mAh battery, allowing for a maximum flight time of approximately 51 minutes. Design enhancements include more aerodynamic propellers and an advanced cooling system, contributing to longer flight times and better performance in various conditions. Omnidirectional obstacle detection is also to be anticipated, including a forward-facing LiDAR sensor.

The DJI Mavic 4 Pro is expected to retail at approximately $2,250, with the official launch set for May 13, 2025. The drone will likely be available in various bundles, including Fly More and Creator combos, offering additional accessories like batteries, propellers, ND filters, and a cellular dongle.
