DJI adds mirror mode, Osmo 360 color grading to Mimo app

DJI’s Mimo app just got a big upgrade, and it’s good news for content creators and fitness fanatics alike. The latest version, 2.3.1, officially adds support for DJI’s new Osmo 360 camera, while also delivering a slew of video editing enhancements and dashboard upgrades.

The update brings several fresh editing tools aimed at elevating the quality of content captured with the Osmo 360, DJI’s latest handheld camera, which captures immersive 360-degree video with stunning detail. Users can now apply Pro Color Grading presets to regular video — specifically three themed looks: Swift Shadows, Chasing Light, and Shaping Realms. These preset styles help enhance mood, contrast, and cinematic feel with just a tap.

For creators sharing across multiple platforms, the app now supports five different aspect ratios, making it easier to post optimized videos whether you’re on TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram. A mirror feature has also been added for horizontal flipping, which is especially useful for those recording themselves in portrait mode — it ensures text or gestures appear more natural.

Another highly requested addition is the new watermark positioning tool, which includes the option to center the watermark — ideal for brand visibility or copyright tagging.

But it’s not all about visuals. DJI has also expanded the dashboard feature to better serve sports and training scenarios. Users can now directly record sports data on their mobile devices and access it through a convenient one-tap dashboard interface. For runners, the update adds a cadence sticker — a subtle but meaningful way to track pace and bring a more professional edge to training videos.

DJI’s Mimo app is the control hub for many of its handheld and gimbal-based cameras, including the Osmo Pocket, Osmo Action, and now the Osmo 360. By rolling out creator-centric features like pro color grading, watermark controls, and direct training data overlays, DJI is pushing further into the lifestyle and fitness creator space — making it easier for users to produce high-quality content on the go.
