The DJI Flip was already one of the easiest drones to recommend for travelers and first-time pilots. Now, a major policy change in Washington gives Americans another reason to consider picking one up while today’s deal prices are still available.
The Trump administration has announced sweeping new tariffs on imported drones and drone components, with smaller consumer drones facing a 25% tariff and certain larger or security-sensitive drones subject to duties as high as 100%. A three-axis mechanical gimbal keeps video smooth, while each battery delivers up to 31 minutes of flight time.
With fresh uncertainty surrounding future import costs following the Trump administration’s latest tariff announcement, today’s DJI Flip discount deals may prove to be more than just another sale. If retailers eventually pass higher import costs on to consumers, buyers who purchase now could end up getting one of DJI’s most travel-friendly drones at a price that’s difficult to match later.
