DJI has rolled out a fresh firmware update for Osmo Pocket 3, adding features that make this pocket-sized camera even more versatile. Designed for creators who demand high-quality results in a compact form, the Pocket 3’s latest enhancements focus on audio capabilities and usability.
One of the update’s standout features is the introduction of support for the new DJI Mic Mini. By simply holding the transmitter’s linking button for two seconds and navigating to the settings menu, users can connect up to two microphones simultaneously, including the DJI Mic 2 and Mic Mini. This update also optimizes audio settings, ensuring stereo output even when only one mic is connected — a thoughtful touch for professional-grade sound recording.
The update introduces a customizable recording function. Creators can now choose whether to enable or disable the “Press and Hold Shutter/Record Button to Cancel Recording” feature, which is activated by default.
