The Mavic Air – a look inside the latest DJI drone

The guys from RC Geeks have taken apart the DJI Mavic Air, the latest drone of the market-leading Chinese drone manufacturer. As you can see in the selection of photos we published on our site, it is a precision job. If you decide to take apart your Mavic Air, do so at your own risk.

The Mavic Air – a drone ‘unfolded’

RC Geeks took their tools and tore down the Mavic Air. They started with the props and then moved on to the body of the unmanned aerial vehicle.

First, you remove the top shell and then you work your way down. there are some screws that need to come loose to take apart this drone, the rest is held in place with a series of plastic clips.
