What is the easiest way to clean a power line? You use a flame-throwing drone, of course. Long-time readers of DroneDJ have seen this before when we reported on Chinese power companies using this method last year. This time we get to see a short video, in which a drone (DJI Matrice?) uses a flamethrower to burn off a large piece of plastic from a power line. Very effective as you can see.

Instead of having to send a worker up in a cherry picker, you now simply deploy your drone and voila in a few minutes the debris is gone and the line is unobstructed again.
