Today’s drone video is a summer travel video that gives us “A Glimpse of Siargao Island,” in the Philippines. I had never heard of this place either but it sure looks beautiful. It was shot on a DJI Phantom 3 in 4K by Patrick and this is what he had to say about the short clip:
“Just a little bit of background, Siargao is an island in the Philippine Sea in the province of Surigao del Norte. It has the largest mangrove forest reserves in Mindanao, surrounding coral reef, vast number of coconut palms and a number of shining white sandbar.
I could say that this was one of the best out of town trips we had. Stunning beaches, nice waves for surfing, beautiful sandbars and a few cave activities. But on our 3 full days of adventure in Siargao, we realized that we only had a glimpse of it and 3 days isn’t enough to enjoy all the beauty Siargao could offer. And on that 3 days, there is really one thing that really captured our heart…the people. They are one of the kindest, honest and fun people we have ever met. We will definitely come back to Siargao.”
