DJI releases mystery video announcement – Learn to Win

Yesterday, the world’s largest drone maker released another one of their mystery video announcements. The video is titled “DJI – Learn to Win – June 11, 2019.” It is accompanied by a description that does not give us much more information either. The video itself shows some kind of new hardware with a DJI camera visible in a few short frames. It is hard to make out if this might be a new drone. Even though I wish it would be, I have a feeling it might be something else. The video ends with showing 06-11-2019. The date, I assume that we will learn more…

The latest DJI mystery video announcement

Like I said in the introduction. Neither the video nor the text gives us a whole lot of information about what DJI is up to.

What does stick out though is that in the title, DJI talks about “Learn to Win” and in the description, they also mention: “if you’re ready to win, be prepared to learn.”

DJI was built by tiredless engineers who never stopped looking for answers and pushing boundaries. Now, get ready to push yours. If you’re ready to win, be prepared to learn.

What can we win? How do we win? And what do we need to learn? Is this DJI start into the FPV drone racing world? Do we need to learn a new skill (actual drone flying) in order to win?

A new FPV drone from DJI would be very cool, indeed, but it is hard to see anything drone-related in the video. The hardware that is shown seems more to do with a camera or gimbal of some kind.

Or, could it be that DJI is launching another not-drone related product like they recently did with the launch of the DJI Osmo Action?

We’re not sure. One thing we do know is that June 11 is not far away, so we will soon learn what this new DJI product is all about.

Let us know what you think about DJI’s latest mystery video in the comments below. Do you think it will be a DJI FPV racing drone, the Spark 2 or something else?
