Fat Shark wasn’t about to be outdone by DJI. Fat Shark has announced on their Facebook page that they will be releasing a similar HD FPV system in the near future. This Fat Shark system dubbed Byte Frost will transmit clear 720p video to your existing Fat Shark goggles.
Fat Shark Byte Frost
The Fat Shark Byte Frost system looks to improve upon some of the biggest downsides of the DJI product. It is smaller with a more traditional 30 x 30 stack system. It will work with existing Fat Shark HDO and HD3 goggles and perhaps even others. We don’t have pricing yet, but it will likely be less expensive than DJI’s digital FPV system.
Here is what Fat Shark had to say on their Facebook page.
STRAIGHT OUTTA CHINA!
