Looking to buy a DJI Mini 3 Pro? The mini-sized, mega-capable, budget-friendly drone is getting harder and harder to get.
The Mini 3 Pro is one of DJI’s most powerful sub-250-gram camera drones because it pairs a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with tri-directional obstacle sensing, ActiveTrack flight modes, and up to 34 minutes of flight time.
The pro-level drone shoots 4K HDR video and captures 48MP RAW photos, while its gimbal rotates 90 degrees to shoot high-quality vertical imaging for social media. You can also adjust parameters such as the max speed, angular velocity, yaw smoothness, brake sensitivity, expo, and tilt smoothness to capture pro-level cinematic footage. In addition, the D-Cinelike Color mode provides more visual information, richer color possibilities, and more flexibility when editing.

All these features and more come at a highly lucrative price tag of $599 with the DJI RC-N1 remote controller. The Mini 4 Pro, on the other hand, features the same 1/1.3-inch camera as the Mini 3 Pro but costs $759 with the RC-N2 remote controller and omnidirectional obstacle sensing tech.
Naturally, the Mini 3 Pro is still the preferred choice for consumers and content creators who want an affordable flying camera that goes beyond the basics. But the drone is showing as being “out of stock” on the DJI online store. You can neither buy this puppy on its own nor pick it up with the RC-N1 remote controller or the DJI RC remote controller.

That said, if obstacle sensing and post-production flexibility are not important considerations for you, the $419 Mini 3 might just be the right drone for you.
