DJI Mini 4 Pro drone out of stock? This 3-battery twin is only $763

Finding a compact, high-performance drone in the US that doesn’t break the bank has become a challenge — especially with DJI Mini 4 Pro prices climbing and availability shrinking. But right now, the SkyRover X1 is swooping in with a deal that’s hard to ignore: the Fly More Combo with three batteries for just $718. That’s pro-level flying power, straight out of the box, at a price that most pilots in the US would pay for a single-battery DJI Mini 4 Pro right now.

Enthusiasts and reviewers have been quick to point out the SkyRover X1’s uncanny resemblance to DJI’s Mini 4 Pro. From the sleek, folding arm design to the 4K/60 fps camera and obstacle avoidance sensors, the similarities are hard to miss. Even its flight performance, range, and stability feel strikingly familiar, with many testers noting that the X1 mirrors DJI’s signature handling in the air.

It’s not just about looks, either. The SkyRover X1 also taps into much of DJI’s app-style flight experience. The interface is intuitive, with automated flight modes, precise GPS positioning, and smooth video transmission that make it an easy pick for first-time flyers and seasoned pilots alike.

Under the hood, the X1 delivers the kind of capabilities you’d expect from drones twice its price tag. You get 4K/60 fps video, crisp 48-megapixel stills, and roughly 30-plus minutes of flight time per battery — and with three batteries in the Fly More Combo, that’s well over an hour and a half of total flying time.

It supports intelligent flight features like subject tracking, orbit, and point-of-interest modes, plus omnidirectional obstacle sensing for added safety. The range clocks in at an impressive ~15 km (9 miles), with a stable, low-latency feed that stays strong even in challenging environments.

More than anything, why this deal matters is that not just is DJI’s Mini 4 Pro harder to find in the US, it’s also more expensive than ever, thanks to tariffs, import hurdles, and ongoing efforts by some lawmakers to restrict DJI sales. For drone pilots, that means fewer options and higher prices.

The SkyRover X1, on the other hand, is in stock now and shipping directly from Amazon. At $718 for the three-battery Fly More Combo, you’re getting extended flight time, a full kit out of the box, and the kind of advanced performance normally tied to DJI drones.

Now, even though this drone appears to be a replica of DJI’s offering, it’s important to note that the SkyRover X1’s batteries and accessories aren’t interchangeable with Mini 4 Pro. Moreover, it supports HLG color mode but not DJI’s D-Log M, and it doesn’t come with internal storage, so a microSD card is a must.

But when you consider the current Mini 4 Pro shortage and the price gap, these are small compromises. You’re gaining immediate availability, a full Fly More setup, and a feature set that puts it neck-and-neck with one of the best mini drones on the market.
