As DJI Neo 2 sneaks into US, Neo drone price crashes to $159

DJI’s newest palm-sized camera drone, Neo 2, has quietly slipped into the US through third-party resellers, and the ripple effect is instant: the original DJI Neo Fly More Combo and other Neo bundles are now seeing discounts of up to 21%. The best part? You can scoop up the OG Neo for only $159, which is the lowest price a 4K DJI drone has ever been.

With its bigger camera sensor, improved stabilization, better low-light performance, stronger tracking, and added safety features, Neo 2 represents a real upgrade over the first-gen Neo. Its Fly More Combo (drone only) with three batteries is showing up on US Amazon via third-party sellers at around $459, while the DJI Neo 2 Motion Fly More Combo with RC Motion 3 and Goggles N3 is listed for $929.

But there’s a catch. Only a handful of units are floating around, and DJI’s US availability has been anything but predictable over the past year. Between import pressures, regulatory delays, and inconsistent restocking, there’s no guarantee a new DJI product will stay on US shelves for long, especially one that isn’t being sold directly by DJI.

So, yes, Neo 2 is here. But for most buyers, it’s more of a “grab it if you spot one” situation than a dependable new purchase. Meanwhile, the original Neo has become one of the best-value drones in America, and the pricing right now is wild:

These discounts match the deepest price cuts ever offered on the Neo, and they’re landing right in time for the holiday season. Even at full price, the Neo punches far above its weight. At 135 g, it skirts FAA registration. It shoots 4K, comes with built-in prop guards, has obstacle avoidance, can take off from your palm, and supports gesture controls, tracking, and multiple flying modes. It’s beginner-proof, family-friendly, travel-ready, and shockingly stable in the air for something so small.
