Parrot Anafi specifications compared to the DJI Mavic Air and Mavic Pro

Last Wednesday, French drone maker Parrot, introduced their latest drone the Anafi. It is a very lightweight, portable, foldable drone that shoots 4K HDR videos and 21MP photos with its Sony CMOS sensor. It is also priced very aggressively at $699.99, competing head-on with the likes of the Mavic Air and Mavic Pro from Chinese drone manufacturer, DJI. So how do these drones compare? We’ve put the most important specifications next to each other to provide you with an overview.

Drone specs compared

In the table below, you will find the most important specs. We have colored the cell green when that drone scored best on that particular item. In some cases two drone score equally well, so we highlighted both. In case, where there is no difference between the drones, we did not high light any. This overview is meant to simply provide an overview and to help you make an informed decision when purchasing your next drone. Keep in mind that specs are not everything when it comes to deciding which drone to go with. If you have the chance to try one out yourself, that would be highly recommended. Different drones from different companies all fly… different to try before you buy.

Furthermore, DJI offers DJI Care, a program under which you can have your drone replaced in case of an accident or user error. Parrot does not offer a similar program but does offer a two-year warranty on the Anafi drone.

Lastly, DJI regularly offers discounts on their products, bringing it closer to the price of the Anafi. Keep your eye out for promotions, like the Father’s Day special, here on DroneDJ for new and/or refurbished drones.
