Adorama is holding ‘INSPIRE’ event in NYC with special drone workshops

Adorama’s Inspire event will take place in New York City next week (June 25 – July 1) at various locations. Most interestingly for fans of unmanned aerial aircraft are the drone workshops that the company will be hosting. Dirk Dallas, who you probably know from #fromwhereidrone, will be teaching you the ins and outs of drone photography and videography in different hands-on workshops. So if you are in the area be sure to stop by and check it out!

Adorama’s ‘INSPIRE’ Event

Adorama created a massive weeklong event with many well-known photographers and all the major manufacturers, including DJI, that will offer you the opportunity to learn, create and share your creative skills and work. Or, in their own words:

“A single day event simply isn’t enough to bring together everything Adorama has to offer. We aim to provide the creative community with the education, inspiration and tools they need to create anything they imagine.”

You can choose from more than 40 workshops and sessions to attend, covering topics like:

  • Rooftop Portraits
  • Night Sky Photography
  • Architecture Photography
  • Portrait Photography
  • Travel Photography
  • Food Photography
  • Maternity Photography
  • Wedding Photography
  • Building a Social Community
  • Light Painting
  • Fashion Photography
  • Kids’ Fashion Portraits

And most importantly:

  • Drone Photo & Video

The drone workshops ($10), presented by Dirk Dallas, will be held in Calvert Vaux Park, Brooklyn on the following days:

Wednesday, June 27

Thursday, June 28

The week will conclude with a unique hands-on Adorama Expo in the Metropolitan Pavilion, that will be held from June 29th to July 1st. See here for the full schedule of events.

Note: Chris Burkard who also presented during DJI’s Mavic Air event earlier this year also has a workshop on Thursday: “Storytelling in the Digital Age.

If you are in the New York or close by, be sure to check out this event as it promises to be a week full of fun and interesting learning experiences.
