DroneRise – Inspire 2 shot at, not a Phantom prototype and Skydio news

Good morning, it has been a busy week here at InterDrone and a very good one! Tomorrow is the last day of the event and I’m very glad I was able to attend. InterDrone brings together many industry experts and it has been a pleasure attending the various workshops, keynote presentations, and panel discussions. Expect more news and industry insights to be posted on DroneDJ in the coming days. And, now the headlines you may have missed. We have news about an Inspire 2 that was shot down. A DJI reaffirmation that the leaked photos are in fact a one-off and not a prototype and news from Skydio and the R1 autonomous drone. Video coming soon as well. enjoy!

Today’s video

Today’s 4K drone video is called “Spectacular Scotland” and for good reason. The landscape is beautiful and so is the footage and editing that went into creating this video. The maker of the short film is Luke Maximo Bell and he captured the footage on a 2-week trip to Scotland. For the video, he used a Zhiyun Crane 2 Gimbal, a Sony A6300 and a DJI Phantom 4 Pro Drone. Not much more to say but to sit down and watch it!

If you have a drone film that you would like to show on DroneDJ, send us an email with a link to your video on YouTube or Vimeo and provide us some background info.
