DJI Osmo Pocket accessories are back in stock

The DJI Osmo Pocket accessories are back in stock, said an email that we received from DJI earlier today. Since the launch of the DJI Osmo Pocket, news that we broke first here on DroneDJ, last November many of the accessories were not yet available. Specifically, the release of the Osmo Pocket 3.5 mm Adapter that allows you to connect an external microphone to the gimbal-stabilized camera, kept us waiting for quite some time. Today, however, DJI reports that the following items are in stock: the Osmo Pocket Charging Case, the Osmo Pocket Expansion Kit, the Osmo Pocket ND Filter Set, and the Osmo Pocket 3.5 mm Adapter.

DJI Osmo Pocket accessories back in stock

The DJI Osmo Pocket was launched back in November 2018 and almost all of the promised accessories were not available for purchase at that time. Since the launch of the DJI Osmo Pocket, there have been a few firmware updates, the most recent one of which was released earlier this week.

Today, DJI informed us that some back-ordered add-ons for the DJI Osmo Pocket have become available again in limited numbers. They are the:

• Osmo Pocket Charging Case
• Osmo Pocket Expansion Kit
• Osmo Pocket ND Filter Set
• Osmo Pocket 3.5 mm Adapter

Other accessories are in stock as well, at least on the US version of DJI’s online store, such as the Osmo Pocket Controller Wheel, the Osmo Pocket Wireless Module, the Osmo Pocket Accessory Mount and others.

Recently the Osmo Pocket 3.5 mm Adapter was released which was arguably the most eagerly awaited DJI Osmo Pocket accessory that allows you to use an external microphone with the DJI’s gimbal-stabilized camera.

However, we still have not yet seen some of the other accessories that were showcased at the launch event, such as the underwater cage and extension arm. Hopefully, those will be made available soon.
