Fun, discrete cameras
Insta360 is in a league of its own when it comes to small “micro” action controllers. While DJI is trying to compete with them with the recent announcement of the DJI Osmo Nano, Insta360’s GO 3S and GO Ultra are the leaders.
Both cameras share the same concept: what if you can remove just the primary camera from the rest of the body to have a much smaller and more compact option? The downsides are the much more limited battery life when the camera is detached, but the quality remains top-notch, and now you have a camera that can be placed nearly everywhere.

The GO 3S is the smaller of the two. While the full camera, detachable camera plus the body, is about the same size as a normal action camera, the detachable camera is just about the size of a human thumb. Magnetic, you can attach the GO’s camera to any metal surface, or use Insta360’s host of mounting accessories for unique video options.
The GO Ultra is the new offering in this category from Insta360. Slightly bigger than the GO 3S, the Ultra has a larger battery life, a beefier camera, and support for an SD card slot.

These cameras are perfect if you’re really into having a small, barely noticeable camera, or if you are someone who is looking for something to fit in tight spaces to capture as much action as possible.
Capture everything with 360 cameras
The camera that got Insta360 on the map, the brand’s two main 360 cameras are still at the top of the food chain in consumer cameras. The X5 is the flagship for the brand, packing the most it can with 8K 360 footage. Meanwhile, the X4 Air brings a fresh new life to the older X4 body.

360 cameras are perfect for those who need the widest camera possible, not missing any action and wanting to reframe the shot afterwards. Both the X4 Air and X5 feature swappable batteries and camera lenses, meaning you won’t need to worry about replacing your whole camera after a simple drop or scratch.
