DJI is shaking up the cinema camera market with a dramatic price cut on its flagship product, Ronin 4D. The 6K version is now available for $4,999 — a whopping $1,800 drop from its original price. But the surprises don’t end there. The ProRes RAW license, previously priced at $979, is now available for just $1. This means filmmakers can save nearly $3,000, making high-end cinematic capabilities more accessible than ever.

Tech giant DJI has quietly released two new products for its pro users today: The company’s first-ever cinema zoom lens that will likely be leveraged by the long-awaited Inspire 3 drone and a tether system that adds agility to its professional camera platform Ronin 4D.

DJI has released a new firmware upgrade of its top shelf, professionally conceived Ronin 4D cinematography camera, adding an array of features, including ActiveTrack speed setting and support of ProRes 4444XQ and ProRes 422LT recording.
