DJI is back at the top of the world — literally. In a jaw-dropping new video, the drone giant has unveiled an uninterrupted aerial ascent of Mount Everest, captured in a single take by the Mavic 4 Pro. Starting from the North Col Glacier at 6,500 meters (the point where technical climibing equipment is first required) and soaring to 8,800 meters near the summit, the footage redefines what’s possible for drones in extreme environments.

As of the beginning of June, it is officially summer, and that means sunny days, perfect for taking the drone out for some fun or professional flying sessions. But with DJI’s drones becoming closer and closer in specs and now having multiple classes and families of drones, what’s the best option?

This is the first leak of its kind for the Mavic 4 Pro; leaked product shots are a good sign that the release is coming soon.

It has been a quiet few weeks on the Mavic 4 Pro leak story, minus a few videos of the drone out in the wild, which are old news at this point. But the previously rumored release date should be near, right? I mean, we’ve only been waiting for this drone to finally hit store shelves for several months at this point. Well, I hate to break it to you, but it seems like you’re going to have to wait a little bit longer for DJI‘s new flagship camera drone.

It what might be the craziest redesign in DJI’s product history, the latest leak shows product images of the bundles the Mavic 4 Pro will come with. Included in the “Creator Combo” is a newly designed RC 2 that reminds me a lot of the old Phantom 4 Pro flight controllers from back in the day.

Unlike what we expected to see from our assumption of electronic ND filters, per a leaked Mavic 4 Pro store listing, the electronic filter coming from DJI will snap onto the front of the massive camera payload like previous models. This was one of the few first details seen in what will be one of many early released store listings for the Mavic 4 Pro.

It’s been several months since DJI’s Mavic 4 Pro hit the FCC database, and from what we can tell, we could be seeing a release in late April if leakers are correct. However, some now think the drone will be delayed, but why?
