Zing Drone Solutions and South Korea-based NUCODE have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and reached a preliminary agreement to explore the development and supply of compact wireless modules for drone identification systems. The partnership comes as drone manufacturers and operators face growing requirements around Remote ID, which allows authorities and other approved parties to identify drones in flight.

Earlier this year, Zing Drone Solutions introduced a handheld drone detection device that promised to give law enforcement officers a clearer picture of what was happening overhead. Now, that product is officially shipping, and the company is revealing more details about what sets it apart from the growing number of Remote ID tools already on the market.

Law enforcement agencies across the United States are increasingly encountering drones at public gatherings, emergency scenes, and sensitive locations. And as those encounters grow more common, officers on the ground need quick, reliable ways to understand what’s flying nearby. That’s the challenge Zing Drone Solutions hopes to address with a new handheld device called Z-SCAN MINI.
