Well, the most exciting drone of 2020 is finally ready to hit the market — in 2021. ZeroZero Robotics has announced that its V-Copter Falcon bi-copter drone will be going on sale in China on September 9. And while it’s not a global launch event that ZeroZero has planned for this week, the fact that the product is finally ready to ship is good news for consumers who have been itching to try out this unconventional flying machine.

A new image of the sharply designed ZeroZero Robotics V-Coptr Falcon has shown up online. This is a drone many consumers have been waiting to see, with its unusual configuration.

Think back – way back to December 2019. At that time, Zero Zero Robotics released a video. It showed CGI of a forthcoming drone called the V-Coptr Falcon. And wow, was it cool.

A few days ago, I was contacted by a DroneDJ reader and backer of the Hover 2 autonomous drone Kickstarter campaign from back in 2018 with concerns about the drone never being shipped. As it turns out, it looks like Zero Zero Robotics has begun shipping the Hover 2, so let’s look at why it was delayed.

We just learned and confirmed through two different sources that today DJI reopens their offices in China and that the company has resumed shipping, after having closed its offices because of the Coronavirus outbreak.

After we first learned that DJI had closed their offices, we now hear from Zero Zero Robotics who in an email to their customers warned of delays in production and shipping as they were forced to close their offices as well.
