DJI Matrice 3D

As DroneDJ readers (and anyone else paying even passing attention) have realized by now, DJI has become a veritable (and suspiciously unrepaired) sieve of nominally confidential product information – the most recent example being the liberal flow of photos of the rumored Matrice 3D enterprise drone in advanced stages of development. How did such a tight-lipped company become a leak machine?

New image leaks offer indication of DJI’s continued preparation of its rumored Matrice 3D drone, a smaller, non-foldable version of the  Matrice 30 that’s likely to operate from the company’s Mini Dock for regularly flown enterprise missions.

Only a week after DJI introduced its new Mini 4 Pro consumer drone – whose full visual and tech details had been unearthed in months prior by online sleuths – the company’s rumored Matrice 3D docked enterprise UAV has taken over the central position in the crosshairs of reactivated leakers, who appear to have nabbed footage of the craft shot through the windows of the firm’s headquarters.

So, DJI might be prepping to release not one but two new drones in the coming weeks! The sub-250-gram Mini 4 Pro, as you likely know, has already made its way to the FCC database. But now, leaked pictures of what appears to be a new high-tech DJI drone, Matrice 3D, have also surfaced online.
