DJI has released new firmware updates for two of its enterprise series drone: the M300 RTK and the Matrice 30 (M30).
Global drone and photography giant DJI is alerting clients of a new software upgrade for its enterprise and first responder Matrice 30 series, including associated accessories and apps.
Drones have become an essential tool in many industries. But if there’s one factor that still undermines the high performance and productivity of drones, it’s their limited flight time. This is why when it comes to applications where flight endurance is key but the operational area is minimal, many operators turn to tethered drone solutions. The new V-Line Pro kit is one such solution that has been designed especially for the DJI M30 drone series.
DroneSense has announced that its live video streaming software now supports DJI’s new enterprise drone systems Matrice 30 (M30) and Matrice 30 Thermal (M30T).
Like other tech companies, DJI also gets its products into the hands of “real users” before they are launched officially. One such beta tester for the newly announced Matrice 30 enterprise drone was the Weber County Search and Rescue – a volunteer organization assigned to assist the Weber County Sheriff’s Office in the state of Utah. Incredibly enough, the SAR team was able to witness the lifesaving capabilities of the DJI M30 drone firsthand when a snowboarder became stranded in North Fork mountain valley land.
Alongside announcing the DJI Matrice 30, the company also announced its RC Plus enterprise controller. Find out below which drones are compatible with the RC Plus.
