Last weekend, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, more than 1,000 drones rewrote the playbook for daytime pyrotechnics and set a Guinness World Record for the Largest Daytime Fireworks Display. The milestone moment happened during the International Fireworks Championship, but the real star of the show wasn’t a traditional mortar shell. It was a fleet of 1,020 pyro drones.
