Earlier today DJI released a video onto its social media accounts with the title “Up Your Game” with April 27th being the date of the event. The event is likely going to be the launch of the DJI Mavic Air 2, which can be seen in the teaser video.
Drone videos of the recent tornados that swept through the south-eastern United States show the sheer power and destruction of the storm. David Waltermyer captured the footage in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia and Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Shortly after DJI‘s latest controller hit the FCC’s database the Mavic Air 2 has also now been revealed. The application’s title is officially listed as ‘Mavic Air 2‘, ending speculation that the next Mavic Air was going to be called the DJI Mavic.
A new controller from DJI has appeared on the FCC’s database dubbed ‘RC231’, possibly confirming previous images of a controller that appeared alongside an unreleased DJI Mavic drone. Hopefully this means a new drone is on the way!
Update: It looks like it is for the Mavic Air 2
Not too long ago, we got our hands on images of what looks like to be DJI’s replacement for the DJI Mavic Air, the new DJI Mavic. The new Mavic looks like it will closely follow the design of its bigger brother, the Mavic 2 series, with almost identical positioning of certain features. While a few are different, it’s likely they will closely resemble the unreleased DJI Mavic 3.

DJI sent out an announcement on March 30 through its DJI Affiliate website letting us know of changes coming to the DJI Credits program. Previously, credit from the program had no expiry date.
